American Idol Season 10: The Finale Recap

I thought with the round 3 performance of the finalists Lauren Alaina will take home the crown but I was wrong.

The Season 10 Finale was full of surprises. Lady Gaga and Beyonce's performance was great but I am expecting more performances from the Top 13 since they should be the stars of the night. Too bad Pia Toscano and Paul McDonald wasn't given a chance to perform with a popular artist.

One of the great performance of the night was Steven Tyler's "Dream On", nobody can really sing that song that good except for Steven Tyler. That song is untouchable! Lauren Alaina's duet with Carrie Underwood was also a great performance of the night as well as Scotty McCreery and Tim McGraw.

I'm sorry but I did not like the Tom Jones performance of the Top 13 boys after the great performance of Beyonce with the Top 13 girls.

Congratulations Scotty McCreery for being the American Idol Season 10. This is one of the greatest season ever. Thank you for visiting my page and I'll keep on posting the latest videos and performances of your American Idols. I will be completing all the Top 12 from Season 1 to present. Keep visiting my page for the updates. Thank you so much!

American Idol Season 10 Winner: Scotty McCreery

CONGRATULATIONS SCOTTY MCCREERY!

American Idol Update: Finale

American Idol just released compilation albums for both of the season's Top 2 featuring their songs from last night and throught the season. Both albums contain 14 songs and tHAT IS $9.99 each.

Tonight will be the last episode of American Idol Season 10 and we will see the Top 13 again. This is the information that I got from my source. Carrie Underwood will perform with Lauren Alaina and Scotty McCreery will prform with Tim McGraw. Lady Gaga will perform "Edge of Glory" Bono and The Edge will be performing some of their songs from the Spider-Man Broadway show.

Pia Toscano will also have a duet with Charice Pempengco and if the rumors are true Jack Black will perform with Casey Abrams. Haley Reinhart and James Durbin will also have a performance later on the show. We don't have the information yet if Steven Tyler will perform with James Durbin as mentioned earlier in the season.

Who do you think will win? Good luck to the Finalists.

American Idol: Top 2 Performance Show Recap

Honestly speaking I wasn't jumping on my feet this Finale, I expected a little more with them. I didn't enjoyed this Finale as much as I enjoyed Carrie Underwood vs Bo Bice, Kris Allen vs Adam Lambert or Lee DeWyze vs Crystal Bowersox. I guess tomorrow night will be more exciting.

Round One: Contestants' favorite song of the season

Scotty McCreery - "Gone." It sounded as good as the first time he did this song. It was energetic and fun.

Lauren Alaina - "Flat on the Floor." I don't think this is the best song of the season for her. Maybe she was just trying to match the performance of Scotty but she did not "wow" me. It's good but not great.

Round One Winner: Scotty McCreery

Round 2: Contestants' Idols choose the song

Scotty McCreery - "Check Yes or No." George Strait picked his song for Scotty. Scotty did good with the song but there was no challege. The performance was boring.

Lauren Alaina - "Maybe It Was Memphis." Carrie Underwood picked this song for Lauren and I think this was a better song choice than Scotty's. Lauren just sang the song the way it was. Vocals were good but I am expecting more.

Round Two Winner: Tie

Round 3: Song they'll record if they win

Scotty McCreery - "I Love You This Big." I think this is a great song for Scotty if he wins because the song has a great melody and arrangement that would definitely be a hit. I think Scotty did a great job with this song.

Lauren Alaina - "Like My Mother Does." She did great with the song and I believe after performing this song and being last to perform, I think Lauren will win tomorrow. She will get the votes of the moms.

Round 3 Winner: Lauren Alaina

I think it's more fair if the Finalists has to sing the same song for the last performance because you will see the difference and the talent of both contestants. Lauren was given a better song for the last round that will get most votes. Good Luck to both contestants. Who do you think will win tomorrow? Share your thoughts!

American Idol: Top 3 Results Show Recap

American Idol surprised me a lot this season. I thought Haley had a great show last night but it will still based from America's votes.

Season 10 Finalists:

Scotty McCreery
Lauren Alaina

Eliminated: Haley Reinhart

See you next week for the Finale. Which country singer will get the title? Share your thoughts on tonight's show.

American Idol Season 10: Performance Show Recap

The Top 3 contestants performed great and showed that they deserve to be next American Idol. There were some great moments and there are also bad moments but they still managed to put up a great show tonight. Beyonce was there to help the contestants on their song choice

Round 1: Personal Choice

Scotty McCreery - "Amazed" by Lonestar. I think Scotty made the right choice by picking a song that Boyz II Men actually covered. Country or non-country fan would actually like his performance because they can relate to the song. He performed it well and connected with the audience.

Lauren Alaina - "Wild One" by Faith Hill. She still sounded good as always but I felt she was losing air and gasping for breath with her performance. I don't know if it's the nerves.

Haley Reinhart - "What is and What Should Never Be" by Led Zeppelin. It's a good thing she doesn't listen to Jennifer Lopez to sing current song that will connect to the audience. She picked a song that she love from a very great artist that will show her versatility and great talent. She slipped during her performance and stood up to continue her performance. The show must go on. One of her best performance of the season.

Judges bet on Round 1: Haley Reinhart

Round 2: Jimmy Iovine's Choice

Scotty McCreery - "Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not" by Thompson Square . I'm not a Scotty fan but he did great with the song and I've seen him improve week after week. Jimmy picked a great song for him that will connect to the audience and will make young girls love Scotty even more. He handled the song very well.

Lauren Alaina - "If I Die Young" by The Band Perry. Did she just forget the words? Her vocals were great but I'm not digging her performance. Sorry!

Haley Reinhart - "Rhiannon" by Fleetwood Mac. I really loved the song the way it was and I believe Haley put justice on it. Jimmy picked a great song for her but a very difficult one. Great version of the song. I remembered Didi Benami did a justice with the song as well.

Judges Bet on Round 2:

Steven Tyler: Lauren Alaina
Jennifer Lopez: Scotty McCreery
Randy Jackson: Scotty McCreery

Round 3: Judges Choice

Scotty McCreery - "She Believes in Me" by Kenny Rogers. It was old fashioned for me, it sounded old but he still performed it well.

Lauren Alaina - "I Hope You Dance" by LeeAnn Womack. She performed it well and made the judges very happy with the performance.

Haley Reinhart - "You Oughta Know" by Alanis Morissette. She really nailed the chorus and they picked a very difficult song for her because the verse was fast and it has a lot of words and it doesn't have great melody but she still did a good job with the song.

Judges bet on Round 3:

Steven Tyler: Haley Reinhart
Jennifer Lopez: Lauren Alaina
Randy Jackson: Lauren Alaina

As far as the performance go, I say Haley and Scotty will go through the Finale based from the Top 3 performance. See you tomorrow for the results show. 1 more week and we will know the Season 10's American Idol. See yah!

American Idol Update: Top 3 on Wednesday

On Wednesday night, the remaining top 3 American Idol hopefuls had to sing song of their choice. I believe this will be a refreshing one because they have the freedom to sing what they want and show their everything they’ve got to reach to the top. The show on Wednesday will be a 90 minute show with 20 minutes of singing. The top 3 will go to their hometown and they will hit up their old high schools.

On Thursday night we will know the results which will lead us to the finale. Guest performances by the Italian trio Il Volo performing “O Sole Mio,” and Nicole Scherzinger with 50 Cent will perform “Right There.”

America should vote right this time. Good luck to the remaining contestants of American Idol. See you on Wednesday for the Performance Show Recap! Who is your top 2?

American Idol: Top 4 Results Show Recap

I never thought that James Durbin will say goodbye to American Idol this week. I thought he will be in the Top 2. He's the most consistent and most entertaining this season. America just sent home a great talent. You should vote for the deserving one. James Durbin should not be asking America to give metal a chance, because he already did. James Durbin gave metal a chance! Good Luck James!

American Idol: Top 4 Performance Show Recap

The American Idol hopefuls had to sing 2 songs from the list of Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller. 2nd round is way better than the first round. The judges had been very mean to Haley Reinhart from the past weeks but there are some bad performances who received good comments from them. I’m starting to believe that the show is somewhat scripted. Lady Gaga was also there to help the contestants on the rehearsals. Anyway here’s my opinion on tonight’s show.

1st round:

James Durbin – “Dont Stop Believing.” He really nailed the song especially the high notes. No doubt James is a performer and he’s making the most out of it while he’s still on the show. His vocals tonight was better than last week.

Haley Reinhart – “The Earth Song.” Not the best song choice by Haley but I still love the performance. I don’t think she deserved too much criticism from the judges. It wasn’t that bad at all. The vocals and growling was still good.

Scotty McCreery – “Where Were You When The World Stopped Turning.” The vocals was good but I still think did not come out from his comfort zone, he sings the same type of song. If he keeps doing the same song each and other week, he might be losing his votes. This was boring for me. Sorry.

Lauren Alaina – “Anyway.” She has the best song choice in this round. Great vocals Lauren.

2nd round:

Haley Reinhart – “I Who Have Nothing.” – She slayed it! This is one of the best performance of the season and received 3 standing ovation for the season. No matter what the judges say she still managed to put up a great performance. She won the 2nd round.

Scotty McCreery – “Young Blood.” - weird performance, awkward face and awkward moves. Great vocals tonight but i didn’t like any of his performance tonight. Sorry!

Lauren Alaina – “Trouble.” Finally she came out of her comfort zone. She did great tonight with her two songs. Great job Lauren.

James Durbin – “Love Potion Number 9.” Good way to start and end the show. Great performance, great vocals and great stage presence. 2nd round is better than round 1.

It’ s time to share your thoughts about tonight’s performance. See you tomorrow on the results show. Please vote for the deserving one. See yah!

American Idol Update: 1950′s post-World War II hits from Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller Night

This week the Top 4 Idol hopefuls will take on 1950's post World War II hits from Jerry Lieber and Mike Stoller. I hope they can pick great songs since they are not familiar with their music because of their age.

American Idol: Top 6 Results Show Recap

Tonight we will learn who earned the least votes and who stays for the To 5. Based from our Poll today the bottom 3 are Jacob Lusk, Casey Abrams and Scottie McCreery. Did Randy Jackson promoted and asked the audience to vote for James Durbin to will the whole thing? I love James Durbin but I think Randy’s action was unfair to other contestants because they are also doing their best to win “the whole thing.”

Tonight’s guest performers are Bruno Mars and Crystal Bowersox and it was also announced that the American Idol 2011 Tour will have 44 stops from early July until early September.

Did you vote for your favorite?

American Idol: Top 6 Performance Show Recap

This week’s performance show wasn’t that boring as I thought it would be. The Top 6 contestants are great to put up a very good show tonight. The Idol hopefuls also performed duets. Randy also had a “winner prediction” when he said James Durbin could win the whole thing. Is it early to make a prediction when everyone else is doing great? Baby Face also helped the Idol hopefuls during the rehearsals.

Jacob Lusk – “Oh No, Not My Baby.” At this point of the competition, Jacob should outshine everybody because he is doing the same thing each and every week. His vocals was great but he needs to take risks to stay in the competition.

Lauren Alaina – “Where You Lead.” She performed the song well. But i wasn't jumping from my seat on her performance. She can sing anything.

Scotty McCreery – “You’ve Got a Friend.” His vocals was good. I still don’t think he came out of his comfort zone.

James Durbin – “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow.” I think this is the best performance of James this season. This is his moment and he proves that he can sing anything, he can reach the highest note, he can do ballad and he’s a total performer.

Casey Abrams – “Hi-De-Ho.” Casey again showed his versatility in his performance tonight. He’s musically talented and yes the sexy sax player is there that will make Steven Tyler enjoy the performance even more and Casey made Steven Tyler's scalp itch.

Haley Reinhart – “Beautiful.” Haley sang the sang without any growling and I guess it’s time for her to show her talent without the growling. She still manage to sound great. She’s doing good each week but Randy is still trying to remove her in the competition.

Duets:
Casey Abrams and Haley Reinhart – “I Feel the Earth Move.”  They have an amazing chemistry and they really sounded good together.  I hope to hear more of their duets.

Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina – this is not their best duet but they still sound good together. They do not have the same chemistry as Haley and Casey.

Jacob Lusk and James Durbin - The dancing was terrible but the vocals was good. They can really hit very high notes!

I will not say who’s my bottom 3 this week. They are all good. America it’s your choice and please vote for the deserving contestant. What's your thoughts on tonight's show?

American Idol: Top 7 Performance Show Recap

American Idol Top 7 took songs from the 21st Century and I can say that the Idol hopefuls made a very great show tonight. The eliminated contestants opened the show and I’m happy to see them once again on American Idol stage. Here is my performance recap. I hope you also enjoyed the show!

Scotty McCreery – “Swingin” by Leann Rimes.  That song was originally sang by John Anderson but Leann Rimes covered it. I hope one day i could see him get out of his comfort zone.

James Durbin – “Uprising” by Muse. He has been the most consistent on the show. He can really hit those high notes and you will never know when it’s coming. He is full of surprises and he’s not afraid to take risks. Great job James!

Haley Reinhart – “Rolling in the Deep” by Adele. This is her best performance in the show. The song really fits her style and her rendition of the song is really great. Adele is one of the most unique and great artist we’ve ever had and I know Haley put justice on the song. She made me love Adele more. Haley has been the underdog in the show and I’m hoping not to see her in the bottom 3 tomorrow based on her performance tonight.

Jacob Lusk – “Dance With My Father” by Luther Vandross. I hope I could see Jacob do an upbeat song because if he will do the same type of song each other week, he might put himself to the bottom 3 and might leave the show next. In the beginning of the song he cannot hear the piano. Is that a sabotage from the show?

Casey Abrams – “Harder to Breathe” by Maroon 5. When I heard his song choice I thought he will screw up but he did not screw up at all. For me he did a great job with the arrangement of the song and the kiss on JLO’s cheeks was a very surprising one. He just kissed the most beautiful woman in the world! What a lucky guy!

Stefano Langone – “Closer.” By Ne-Yo. I thought this is not the best night for Stefano vocally and the dancing was very awkward. Everbody is doing well in the competition she should pick it up and do a great version of a song.  He barely sang tonight.

Lauren Alaina – “Born to Fly’ by Sara Evans. Her performance today was just Ok, a very safe one. She can sing anything and I hope she can sing and arrange a great song next time.

America should vote right tonight. Nobody is safe so you have to vote for your favorite. See you tomorrow! What’s your thoughts on tonight’s show?
